You can own your domain name for a period of 1-10 years. .BIZ and .INFO names must be registered for a minimum of 2 years.

3. What is the longest term I can register my domain name for?

At this point in time, regulations permit a maximum of 10 years.

1. I just registered my domain name and it still doesn’t show up anywhere?

Although domain name registrations are processed immediately it takes 24-48 hours from when the domain name is registered until it is active. Even though the domain name is secured, the information about your domain name must propagate throughout the internet.

2. How do I get my domain name to work with my ISP?

Your ISP or hosting company will provide you with DNS information about their nameservers. You can use the Manage page to update your domain name to reflect this information given to you.

3. How do I manage my domain name?

Your domain name can be managed by using the Manage page on our site. Information regarding your password and what to do was emailed to you when you registered. If you need this information re-sent, please contact us.

4. How do I sell my domain name to another party?

In order to transfer your domain name to another party, we must have a signed & notarized “Change of Registrant” form mailed to us. Please contact our domain transfers department and they will snd you the necessary forms.

5. How do I renew my domain name?

You can renew anytime. However, when your domain name is up for renewal, you will be sent a renewal notice via email with instructions on how to renew. Beware of fraudulent renewal notices from other companies. These “renewal” notices are actually trying to get you to transfer your domain name to their company. The only renewal notice you need to worry about will come from Domain Name Registry.

6. I lost my password, what do I do?

If you have lost your password, You can use the Manage page to request your password, by typing in your domain name and leaving the password blank. Login and the Lost Password dialog will pop up. Click the link to recover your password and it will be sent to the email address on fileContact us if you no longer have access to this email address or if the password is blank when you receive it (This means it was not set).
